What else is wrong with it? My Trailhunter has been awesome. Every day I can’t wait to jump into it.

OP I’ll check mine tomorrow. But appears this has been an issue for 20 years. Also have seen bmw forums with the same issue. I’d maybe just oil it down lightly. I don’t think it’s a unique 2024 toyota Tacoma issue...

What’s the cause? Should that metal be painted? I can check mine.

@Snickers made some small calibrations with 285/75 - maybe it’s camber or other front end suspension settings

Ok I actually think it’s +20 which surprises me given how little poke I see on OP’s setup. @Snickers i think has more poke on a 285 KO3.

Toyota will fix it. It will suck between now and then. And after that hopefully you’ll forget about it and it will be great for years and years. I spent a ton on my TH, more than you spent because of Texas dealer bs, but I’m not worried long-term.

I’m keeping my truck. But also going to continue to track this issue so I can get a sense for whether I’ll be impacted and how toyota is addressing it over time. I don’t think I’m fear-mongering. I’m not even that upset.

Guys - if you’re having issues now count it as a blessing since the transmission will for sure fail within the 60k mile powertrain warranty. Also - you don’t want your trans replaced until they have enough inventory and it’s perfected - buying time is not bad I’m waiting for mine to crap out.
