I didnt see any in mine at 1k, but the oil analysis indicated break in metals (and very high silicon), so it’s good to change your oil early and often.
FYI - The 5k mile is free but useless. They don't touch your vehicle (no fluid changes/no tire rotation), its more of an inspection, so you're good either way if you want to go.
You're lucky. Mine works for about 2-3 days and then its a mess again. No digital key, requires nothing short than removing from iOS, re-add, works again for a bit. I gave up on it. Worst part of the truck tbh.
I love my 4x4 offroad and too many pros to list. Maybe it's just me, but the main con is with the Toyota iOS app I used for the digital key they give you for 1 year that works when it wants too. I constantly have digital key problems (connecting/redownloading/deleting app) to fix it. I...
Are you taking for cleaning or polishing? I used the car guys wheel and tire cleaner (no issues). I only leave it on for 30 seconds (no longer) and one wheel at a time
I’m sorry to hear about the main seal and I’d be so pissed, but honestly that is not terrible to change a rear main seal. It’s usually just dropping the transmission. My guess is it was installed wrong and if it’s wrong it will LEAK, bad. I would be far more upset if you had the tundra...
I may be a minority, but I prefer the aluminum hood over steel. There's no way my wife would check oil in my 3rd gen with that weight of the hood, but it's not an issue in the 4th gen for her.
I just changed my oil on my 4x4 offroad at 1k and was going to make a post about it when I get my oil analysis back. However, to your leak, my drain plug was 'snug' at best and there was a few drops of oil on my 'skid plate'. I say 'skid plate' because it is now cheap plastic cover and not...
My experience with my '24 Offroad from Clearwater Toyota was also painless. I pretty much paid MSRP and they have a few add-ons already (window tint was one of them), etc, but they did well on my 3rd gen trade-in. No complaints.
Haha I thought it was just my 2024 4x4 TRD OffRoad. Why would a 4x4 Offroad come with carpet floor mats? You know the answer, they wanted another $100. :P
Thanks. I understand the need for the 5V to 12V cable. My question is still on the 5pin connector always hot or hot only when the key is on? I dont want to manually turn off/on the radar detector. Thank you!
Hey guys - I just picked up my '24 TRD Off-Road Premium. I need to connect my Uniden R7 radar detector. I was curious about this 5 pin adapter I see from dongar instead of running the add of circuit to the fuse box. Is the 5 pin an always hot setup or hot only when the truck is running? As...
