After 5 months of research and 3 months waiting on a deposit - finally took it home Friday. Tires were definitely not taken down from 50 PSI even though I asked to be checked.
It was 106 yesterday and was still looking for reason to get out and drive. Though I've driven thousands of hours in...
Yes, you overpaid CValley but in the end if you love it then that's what's going to matter. If you intend to keep the truck for 8+ years you'll be fine. If you're financing then I would advice since you did pay a bit more OTD to pay it off as quick as possible. Higher OTD cost = more interest...
Excuse my ignorance I'm coming from 25 year of imports still new to trucks. But This is a cat-back and not a turbo-back correct? Being these are turbo'd vehicles I would have to assume these have a downpipe.
I see your system is a 3", I believe the stock system is 2.75" (?). Would there be a...
The truck I have a deposit on says " Vehicle may be in transit. Estimated availability 08/28/24 - 08/28/24. "
I guess it should be here, maybe tomorrow? But the VIN doesn't seem like a valid one when i do a VIN lookup.
I had my 2004 STi from 2005-2011 traded it for a 2012 STi. Still have that STi, nearly 13 years now.
We had our 2006 Mazda 3 for 10 years before gifting it to our kid and getting a 2021 Outback.
I have no problem buying new so long as I keep it minimum 8 years. And if I love it then I'll just...
Wow that was a crazy head on! Just happy you're able to walk away! I can't help but think, holy dinguz that truck took it on the chin and kept you safe!
Again so glad you're safe bud
My truck is arriving Sept 9-16 (allegedly). What's your opinion if this issue being known by Toyota is likely rectified on newly arriving Tacoma's? Or do you think they're still rolling them out and will fix it later.
I'm not a big guy and drive appendix. It's not comfortable but it's not bad enough I would change my carry position. Full size carry as well.
I use crossbreed holsters. Kydex on the front but nice comfy leather on the back with claw as well.
I don't think it will be too long before an under...
I would not, this is more for a performance car and even then I would not chose to go atmospheric. A lot of air, in between shifts or letting off accelerator, gets circulated back into the air intake system after the MAF.
In the same boat but I don't normally keep my firearm in the vehicle i appendix carry. But, for those times I have to go into a gov't bldg and park across the street definitely needing a lockable storage area. This one of the reasons I wanted the back seat storage over hybrid.
I've noticed a good amount of meh reviews of the sound system which is really disappointing. Especially being shocked how good the stock system is in our 2021 Outback.
When I got my 2004 STi in 2005 the first thing I did was rip out all the stock cabling and stereo components. Drilling, mounting...
The air is being taken from outside the engine bay that's what that airbox is on the front corner of the vehicle. It doesn't look cool like a 2000's CAI or short ram but the stock airbox operates as a "COI".
I'm sure the stock airbox is rated higher than the engine already. Example is the STi...
What? I wasn't trash talking dude, I'm just apprehensive with the handful of issues that have been found so far on the Tacoma. Compounded with the other issues Toyota has had recently would naturally cause someone to be cautious with their money.
You yourself mentioned you won a lemon lawsuit...
Although I have my deposit down on a TRD OR premium just 5 weeks out, I'm starting to Google ZR2's.
Guys this is awful. No one with a new $50k+ vehicle should feel worry or doubt when driving. We're dropping this kind of money on a brand new vehicle for the peace of mind knowing we are the...
