The xtra cab is not out yet that I am aware of. Hopefully it hits dealer lots soon. I have have a 3rd gen and my 60lb mutt rides back there without any issue. (Probably similar dimensions; I fold up my jump seat)

I know many of us who are serious about off-roading carry an air compressor. do you think airing down a full size tire would work?

I am getting frustrated with Toyota as well. Both my Corolla and 3rd gen Tacoma have been impacted by recalls within a week. The Corolla needs the Toyota safety sense 3.0 updated and the Tacoma needs the rear axle inspected for welding debris. Don’t pay anything above msrp. The market is...

KO2s are my favorite tires. I have them on my 3rd gen and love them. Good choice

If you are serious about wheeling, the off-road is the way to go.
