Not sure why people keep bringing this up to Toyota. It's a known software issue lol. This is a super small issue that is way down on their backlog and will likely never be fixed.
I'm sure there's the oddball case around, but almost every thread I've seen about the vibrations/shudders with the new Tacomas has either been the tires/wheels or the roof rack. I'd start there.
I have an OR that I regularly drive 90+ with no issues.
Some people here seem to be scared of telling the dealers/lawyers/corporate to go f*** themselves and this is a problem and it shouldn't have happened. So instead they tell people to cower and tuck their tale and hide any evidence of what happened.
The entire dash will light up with stuff like that due to the grille shutter as well. Basically you have to pull the codes to actually figure out what is going on.
I would make them physically show you the codes cause drive train issues are a definite symptom of the transmission going out.
Unless you hit the SOS button to completely opt out and turn data sharing off, you're still allowing them to collect data. Hell, they're still probably doing it then too.
