  1. I Went Old School. Maybe not that old (custom bed decal)

Hopefully! Gave me nostalgia of the good times lol
  2. I Went Old School. Maybe not that old (custom bed decal)

Need to update mine as well. Nice sticker BTW
  3. MP3 not working out

Could be an adapter problem (might only be power, instead of data). Could also be a pathing problem. I'm not sure how the Toyota infotainment works with flash drives, but you may have to have the files at the root of the drive (opposed to in a separate folder or similar)
  4. 4 wiring plugs on blanks not used

Different trims/models/powertrains have different options. https://assets.sia.toyota.com/publications/en/om-s/OM24N1QRG/pdf/OM24N1QRG.pdf
  5. "Heritage Grill" w/Raptor Lights and Light Bar, Fang Lights and Power Distribution Install

I'm not sure if it would affect anything with your distribution module, but I have seen a couple people that have wired their fang lights to the IGN say that it will randomly turn on when the truck is off. Just something to be aware of.
  6. First oil change at 840 miles with filter cut open (LOTS of debris!)

I've heard a flush is worse than a drain and refill. They're essentially just running any potential debris through the system at pressure. With the issues with the casting debris I'm not sure I'd go that route. Just some random strangers opinion though.
  7. Just showed my wife seat covers

Old post, but somebody commented on it today. https://www.tacoma4g.com/forum/threads/seat-covers.5120/
  8. Aux Lighting installed: ditch lights, reverse lights, turn signal

Fang lights. They take the place of the black plastic covers. There are multiple posts of people installing them.
  9. 25% off Toyota OEM parts and accessories through Dec 2, 2024

No modifications that a normal install would encounter. I had to "improvise" a few things due to a damaged bumper, but the actual grille install is straight forward. All of the clips that sandwich it in between the bumper and facia can be a pain in the ass though. I'll have to tear her down...
  10. All vehicle settings were reset??

I canceled mine immediately after I bought the truck cause I don't want them reporting all of my information to various agencies - and never had any issues of resetting the whole truck lol
  11. 25% off Toyota OEM parts and accessories through Dec 2, 2024

Part number is dependent on if you're wanting the gloss back or flat black paint. I did flat to match the blackout package I have. Part number for that is 53101-AK070. Not sure about the gloss though.
  12. Slippery bed on Tacoma

I love mine, but I tried to take one of the cleats off (that is covered in liner), and I CANNOT get the damn bolts out because of the stupid liner in the head of the bolt.
  13. Heated Steering Wheel. Possible Issue.

Ya'll must have some sensitive hands, cause I love the heat output. I think it could actually be a little warmer, and could stand to be constant on, not the cycle/pulse.
  14. SR Tacoma Front Camera Install

If you're talking about strictly adding a front facing camera, probably not difficult. If you're talking adding the MTM features that allow you to see the image from the camera on the display, I highly doubt that will be easy, or cheap.
  15. Climate control using Toyota App?

Caveat being that you have to have connected services enabled to do this. The app is useless to me since I'm not using any of the connected services.
  16. Greetings! New Member, prospective Trailhunter buyer. TFS interest rates.

I seem to have a penchant for expensive hobbies. Mountain biking, skydiving, base jumping, a wife, now a tacoma.
  17. Greetings! New Member, prospective Trailhunter buyer. TFS interest rates.

Don't forget the absurd amount you'll also spend modifying/customizing/upgrading.
  18. Greetings! New Member, prospective Trailhunter buyer. TFS interest rates.

Just an FYI, but generally if you want to shop around for rates, you have something like 30 days to have credit pulled from different places (for the same type of loan) and it will only show as one hard hit.
  19. Greetings! New Member, prospective Trailhunter buyer. TFS interest rates.

Hell of a down-payment if it's only 252 a month. I did 50% on an OR and mine is still 500 a month.
  20. 25% off Toyota OEM parts and accessories through Dec 2, 2024

I ordered a TRD Pro grille through a dealer and just explained that I know it won't match the VIN provided, but that I'm replacing the OEM with this one. No issues.
