I mean sure they make some money from the manufacturer, but it's a lower labor rate than what they're going to charge you if it wasn't warranty.
May not be laziness, but to me it comes off as very hands off, I don't want to do this because it doesn't benefit me type response. I would be finding...
For one, what warranty are we talking about?
Two the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act states that the dealer must prove that the modification caused whatever issue to void the warranty.
So again, lazy dealer that doesn't want to do any work or be liable.
Had mine less than a month and got it cracked on the highway. Not sure that it's a quality issue. Seems more of an issue with the angle of the windshield. Stuff doesn't really bounce off it more just takes it straight to the chin lol.
Words matter. OP doesn't understand that there is a recall on the BSM SENSORS and the brake LINES. Not a brake SENSOR like he was arguing about.
Again words matter or OP is the first person to have a brake SENSOR problem (if that's even a thing).
Well you're either the first person I've seen any any 4th gen forum with a brake SENSOR recall, or you're mistaken and confusing the two. I would be interested to see your official documentation on the brake sensor recall.
If so, you'd be first out of all the 4th gen owners with this issue.
This is like the 3rd thread I've seen on the recalls this week lol. Yes everybody has seen them. Yes everybody knows about them.
No there is no fix as of yet for the brakes.
You have to use Android Auto for that. Should come up on your phone to continue using with AA.
That being said, I do wish there was a way to get rid of the Toyota Navigation option on the infotainment menu because I'm not paying to use something I get on my phone for free.
