Well, you do learn something new everyday. I was debating whether I should go for E or C on the KO3s. I opted for C simply because of the wieght. Good to know that the said rating has minimal bearing to the strength of the sidewall.
If only the remote connect thing ALONE costs around sub $8 a month. I would purchase it. Unfortunately, we do not have the option to purchase just the remote connect by itself. I do not see any practical reason to pay $15 for some other service that I do not need. Mine will expire later this...
One of my fondest memory was when my Dad had a diesel truck. He lets me rev it every now and then. And being a kid, seeing the smoke come out of the exhaust as I revved it was the coolest thing back then.
I have always wondered what that sound was. I have always had it since day one. I am at 8.5K miles right now. Figured it was normal, just sounded weird the first time I heard it.
You should be good. I have a carwash membership too. I have the "touch free" option, so I get high pressure water instead of those brushes. Zero issue. Even my OEM tonneau cover is holding up pretty well despite the pressure from washing.
I am thinking of going the same route. I will be putting mine on when I hit the 10k mark, which is pretty soon. I like that you do not have to deal with oiling the filter anymore since it is the dry type. I will be purchasing a washable cabin filter as well.
I just ordered and received my item form amazon. It is , like what you said, wrapped in some plastic bag inside the amazon box. Figured if it gets damaged and leaks during shipping. I will just file a return claim on Amazon. So far so good, everything was in order and the Griot's item that I...
WIll most likley get it from Amazon then. I am just concerned that there times when some liquids are shipped by Amazo, the container breaks. But then again, you can easily ask for a refun and return it if that happens.
Thanks for the heads up. Now that I know, I will steer away from any of their products. The posted photos says it all. With the amount of money you spent, you deserve better than that.
I did not even know about this notice until I saw this thread. Checked the app and is posted there. Will get this done on together with the 10k service at the dealer.
It looks like it will hold to the outdoor elements based on the description better than 303 Aerospace Protectant. It also has a satin finish. Too bad I cannot find any local place that carries it, Amazon is my only option to get one for now.
The OEM Tonneau cover is not cheap. I know that it will not last forever, but I also want it to last long enough to make the most out of my money's worth. If I can extend it's life in any way, I am all for it. Mostly the sun is what will ge to it. I am debating between 303 Aerospace Protectant...
Yup, I tired using Acetone, nope, didn't work. Sanded it down, it took forever. Opted to use an exacto knife to shave the lettering. Not perfectly smooth, but no more yellow! Wish I knew that they will come out with the black version.
I took mine out, one reason is that sometimes it rattles. Just be really carefull when you take it out, I slightly knicked the cord when I cut out mine. Not that big of a deal, but still it would have better had I been more careful.
The key word is mature. Not in an age level kind of thing, but more of the intellectual level. If only they can establish a valid point in their argument, then I will take the time to listen. Their mindset: It's newer, better. I do not have it, nor can afford it, ergo: it's trash. They are all...
