OVS will be hosting an event this coming March 29th. It's not that big of an event, but at least this is a chance to hang out with like minded people. Everytime they host an event they raffle off some stuff. The prizes are a mix of several items which usually includes something on the expensive...
I was there Saturday too around 11am. It was a pretty fun day. I believe that will be the biggest outdoor/overland event that we will have for this year. There will still be a couple more but not as big as this one.
I noticed that too. This is the only forum I frequent now for that reason. They sound like a bunch of 12 year olds crying about something that they do not really know about. Specially in person, they all act like they are the sh*t and we are a bunch dumb clucks who does not know what to do with...
I have been using OnX Offroad. Work pretty good even without cell service. The overall features and interface is geared towards offroading activities. Works well with the truck's radio interface via Apple Carplay.
Now I am curious. When you guys say 20º, are you just eyeballing it while looking at the gauge? Or does the number 20º actually show up on your gauge? For my gauge does not display any number on it.
I am switching over from the import tuning scene, to the world of harley motorcycles into this. All have different target groups. With the first two having an active "meet" scene. Usually meets happen on random locations. It can be parking lots on a random night. Or a location where food is...
I am still trying to gauge the interest within the group. This is a total demographic that I am used to. It would be nice to get to know and kick it with a bunch of like minded people like what you said. So if one decides to go wheeling or do some outdoor stuff. There will be a larger pool of...
Anyone else going to the Overland Expo event in Costa Mesa this coming weekend? Just curious. Rather more wondering why there are no organized meet for the 4th gen owners yet in California.
I thought it was a plug and play cover. Nvm, back to waiting for an actual cover for the speaker slot. That or a speaker that you canm put in there that does not need have a battery on it.
I am tempted to take the route that you took. But I know crap when it comes to a car's electrical system.
I also like the remote feature on the app. But the $15 monthly subscription is a little too much. Still debating whether I will be paying the $15 monthly fee when my one year is up.
I did not even know that this was thing! I have been driving around without any cover on the speaker slot. Before we know it, someone will come up with a drop in speaker without a rechargeable battery on it.
I agree with the post above. I have the OEM mat as well. I looked into other options yet still opted for the OEM one. The material is thicker yet more pliable and seems to be more durable. Anything close and the price point will be almost similar to the OEM mat, so why not go OEM? I feel like...
I have both the spray bed liner and the OEM bed mat. The spray liner alone works, but there is less sliding around with the bed mat on the truck. And the texture on the bed mat is more forgiving, as opposed crawling around on your bed with the spray liner alone when you move things.
Not bad. Althought the logo is still there. At least it's all black now, I just do not like how the random colored logo pops. I wonder if alcohol would have the same effect. Now I want to get one, too bad it's out of stock.
