I can't figure this one out either. The stock offset is something like +55. I think all these aftermarket companies just want to avoid making a new product and so keep making their rims that fit the older Tacomas that could get by with a smaller positive offset (e.g. closer to zero)...

For a long time they used really high levels of moly. Pretty much higher than anyone else. I don't think the newer formula of Toyota oil includes as much moly.
It was definitely an outlier as far as oils because most oil brands are maybe up to 200 ppm...
