Just Secured a TRD OR in Black/Premium package @ MSRP from Toyota of Wooster in Ohio. There were a few port options, but not bad. Some of them I was actually going to buy anyway :). Build Date is 2/5. Going to suck waiting. I figure if they do build it on 2/5, I might get it before the end...
Also check around with other dealers. Be willing to travel. I have found 3 local dealers charging MSRP here in Ohio. 2 are actively trying to find me a truck to my specs.
I can't imagine heated steering wheel and no heated seats, but you never know. I'm trying to get a premium right now (still no allocation at 2 different dealers for a month) but if I had to choose between heated seats and f/r park assist, I'd go park assist.
Unfortunately, they all are doing it now. I don't even use the nav on my F150 (use Google Maps on CarPlay) but I think my NAV will stop working by summer. My wife's Subaru is subscription based remote start as well.
The thing about this is that it seems to be based on the lack of certification on the website rather than some inside information. This doesn't necessarily mean it's not done, just not updated on the site. The full Excel download was last updated in November. Not saying it's impossible, but...
I'm also fine with turbo engines. My last 2 Fords (19 Ranger, 21 F150) are turbo and had no problem. Also, remember manufacturers (including Toyota) have been using turbos in their commercial diesel engines for years and those go for hundreds of thousands of miles.
No, it's optional on all trims. It's an accessory. Looks like, if this is your truck, you're getting that as an add-on from the distributor. Nothing you can do about that. Seems like a simple part, and since the bolt points are there I'm sure there will be an after-market equivalent sooner...
I'm wondering the same thing. I work for Goodyear, so they'll switch those out for any Goodyear tire I want (within reason). I have to order them ahead of time, so it would be great to know what will fit.
It really seems that way. I ordered one in June and it still isn't scheduled. They were supposed to start shipping at the end of August and we're coming into January now without one Truck (even lower trims) delivered. Granted, there was a strike, but they were already more than a month behind...
For some reason it's been hard to find a Sport or OR with the Premium package around here. My salesman is working hard (or at least seems to be). He's also trying to get a limited (though I'm not a huge fan of chrome). He's found a couple with the Upgrade package, Premium Audio , Sun Roof...
To be fair, the Denali does have things that the limited does. It does have more power, leather, and Auto 4WD. The thing that really makes me pause, besides that it's a GM, is the poor storage. Bad underseat storage and no folding back seat.
I don't know... First of all, you can easily get the GM Twins into the 60K range with options, and the material quality, etc.. are not the best. Not to mention, the 23 is a brand new, unproven engine that is a 2.7l 4cylinder tuned out to the max (So much so that GM extends to warranty to 100K...
The prices are high, but that is the market. Toyota will sell every one of those they can make. To be fair, you can get an SR5 which is probably better equipped than a 5 year old Tacoma for a decent price. The public demands more and more features and gets shocked when prices get super high...
I don't think these add-ons are coming from the dealer. I'm pretty sure this is happening at the distributor level. Seems like all the first ones are coming with the same add-ons (Bedliner, PPF, Door Edge Guards, etc..) that add up to about $2500. I'm being told that this will calm down on...
