@Gfenza89 You might want to pull the codes before you talk to your dealer. Your Taco could have stored them and not set the check engine light like happened on @Plumbers 1st Taco truck. That way they can't jerk you around and say there were no codes.

Yeah - totally different top hat - so no on the Icon reinforcement kit. I guess for now I will just hope that the OEM ones are OK. At least they are not the same part that we know can fail on the other trims.

People who have this happen should probably report it to Toyota. It definitely sounds like something that they need to fix. Only had my truck two weeks and has not happened, but it seems to happen way too often to other people.
