Coming from a 2020 BMW sedan I can honestly say that this truck is damn solid. I have a TRD OR so the materials are obviously not as premium in the interior but that being said (so far) it’s buttoned up just as well if not better than the bimmer with the exception of the rattle with the windows...
Definitely and it makes sense, however, I just dont agree with the rationale the guy gave in the video. Also a 30% drivetrain loss doesn’t seem reasonable so I’m not buying those numbers either. But whatever the #s are, at least we can be certain more power is on tap if you want it!

Interested to see if that resolves the issue. Part of me thinks it won’t since this has been an issue for many generations of Taco’s. Here’s to hoping though! I guess I’ll hold off on taking mine in until you report back.
Agree. Other than that, my truck is solid as hell. I’m coming from a BMW and I’m thoroughly impressed with the build quality. Had zero gripes until i found this cracked window rattle. Keep us posted!

Hoping to nerd out a little bit on the 2.4 engine in my new 24 TRD OR. I am loving the truck so far. Just curious as to what, if any modifications were made to the Tacoma variant of the engine and gain some insight into the tech specs/internals. Is there a thread on this already? Apologies if I...
