Curious what your build date is? Would the software fix have been applied to your truck or not? Sounds like they were trying to get the fix pushed out late summer 24.
That’s not even relating to the 4G Tacoma? Repairpal gathers data from independent shops and derives their “rating” from that. No one is taking a 2024 truck under warranty to an Indy shop for a repair. Also, it’s a highly flawed model. I’ve got some ocean front property in Idaho for you too, if...
why are you even on this forum if you don’t own the truck and aren’t in the market for one? At least post a legitimate substantive link if you’re going to contribute.
To those who have 33s on their non-hybrid Taco, how is the truck handling the added mass? I know the previous gen trucks took a pretty big hit to the drivability after upgrading to bigger tires. Does the added torque with the new engine help offset the difference or is it still a pretty big...

Love the teardrop! This is my first Tacoma, the aftermarket and endless opportunities to modify your ride and make it your own have my wallet trembling. This forum is dangerous.
Anyone else not impressed with the Trail Terrain’s in the snow? I didn’t realize that the OEM version isn’t three peak certified. I hate to take off perfectly good tires but may look to upgrade to some 33 in. KO3s sooner rather than later.
thought this as well but it’s only on the one side. If that’s normal function I may have to replace the suspension with something else. I’ll let the dealer take a look whenever I get around to taking it in
Anyone else notice a clunk in the front suspension under a sharp compression/rebound event? I get this occasionally even on the road. I am only noticing it on the left side. It doesn’t appear that the shock is blown through the mount or anything. Possibly it will need the shock replaced? I’ll...
I will be pressing this issue once the weather turns warmer in my region. My dealer mentioned they haven’t seen this issue come in to their shop yet. I don’t want them tearing the door panel off for no reason.
I don’t consider interior “materials” as a deciding factor when buying a midsize truck. I want it to be durable and utilitarian. The new Taco has the best chassis in class and a Toyota engine. The interior is comfortable and quiet. Could care less about the “materials”. This coming from a guy...
Not even worth giving haters the time of day. Fact of the matter is that the 4G is the best Taco Toyota has ever produced from an engineering perspective. The only thing the previous gen’s have going for them in comparison is their well documented reliability. I suspect in time that the 4G will...
This is my first vehicle I’ve owned with cloth seats. I actually love them and they’re comfortable as they’re not slippery and don’t temp to extremes. So far I’ve avoided any stains but I’m wondering what you all do to maintain and/or clean the fabric. I plan on owning the truck for a long time...
