  1. Comparison vs. Ranger Raptor - tie rods, axles, bash skid plates, rear control arms (Trailhunter Tacoma)

Thank you! Please hit like and subscribe if you liked the video. I’d take the Tacoma frame and rear axle housing as well. I also like the refinement of our powertrain and MPG by comparison. But the RR is def way faster and the dampening is better. Just not the truck for me, for my needs...
  2. Body clip part number please

Oh great! Do you just punch out the old ones with a screwdriver?
  3. Body clip part number please

Hey guys - these clips are all over the truck and I need the part number. My PPF guy needs to remove some for the third time (long story) to fit some PPF and if you’re familiar with toyota clips they get shitty after a few removals — I’d rather pop in fresh clips. Bonus if you know the clips...
  4. 285/70/17 tires with or without lift?

Video on Falken vs KO3 size. With certain offsets I think the Falken could rub as it’s so wide — and I learned they def rub with the Canadian mud flaps. Width also causes rubbing.
  5. Comparison vs. Ranger Raptor - tie rods, axles, bash skid plates, rear control arms (Trailhunter Tacoma)

Hey guys - so how much does the rear axle housing tell us about the actual size of the axles inside? If the Tacoma has a 3.2” axle housing and the Raptor has a 3” axle housing does this necessarily mean the rear axle inside the Tacoma is thicker? It would track given the larger diameter ring...
  6. Poor gas mileage

I feel like the hybrid Tacoma is the right amount of power. I don’t really care for much more. I drove a raptor and I wasn’t wishing I had that bit of extra juice. The Tacoma low low end torque really hits the spot for me. And I can keep the truck at 80 for several hundred miles up and down...
  7. Comparison vs. Ranger Raptor - tie rods, axles, bash skid plates, rear control arms (Trailhunter Tacoma)

Yeah. I barely notice them. But when I see a halo Tacoma it’s really something.
  8. Comparison vs. Ranger Raptor - tie rods, axles, bash skid plates, rear control arms (Trailhunter Tacoma)

Thanks! We only had a few minutes before my brother needed to leave with his Raptor so we did the best we could in that time. If you liked it please click the like button!
  9. Comparison vs. Ranger Raptor - tie rods, axles, bash skid plates, rear control arms (Trailhunter Tacoma)

We compared tie rods, axles, bash plate thickness, and rear control arms with the Ranger Raptor - Tacoma Hybrid seems to have slightly thicker components (or the same) except for the rear control arms. Both trucks appear very robust. I *think* the front axles are Dana 44 on the RR and the...
  10. 285/70/17 K03 stock tires on TRD Off-Road wheels

For those wanting the KO3s in this size, I compare the looks and dimensions to the Falkens in this video:
  11. New Rigid Lights for ARB Steel Rear Bumper

Is that just one of the 3 aux switches ?
  12. +25 OFFSET CLUB

RRW + MT tires is a very wise combination. Excellent weight management, excellent performance and looks.
  13. 4th gen hate

It will do great off-road. The issues are theoretical. Send it.
  14. Full or Partial PPF

This dude got full PPF: https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1ELqSChVso/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  15. Full or Partial PPF

I’m not acting like a small part of me doesn’t die when I get a rock chip lol.. I just had to cut it off at some point. A lot of people do full PPF and I would love to have that peace of mind.
  16. Full or Partial PPF

I did partial. I have never full PPF’d any of my vehicles. For me it’s just too much money. I do already have a scuff and also a rock chip on my front doors (one on each side). I run 285s with the small mud flaps. I think at this point I’m just going to let the truck be. I’ve got 12K miles...
