I’m not sure why some of our Tacomas do this. Transmission debris ?
I will say when I test drove a Ranger Raptor, when it shifted from 2-3 it felt like someone had taken a bamboo cane and smacked me directly into my spine. The sales guy was unfazed.
Mine does this sometimes but only when the engine / transmission is cool and if I’m giving it a little bit of load off the line - happens maybe 2-5 times a month
Castor varies on these trucks to the point that many can throw on 34.3” tires with no issue while others get super close on 33s. I’d love to get the castor specs so an alignment shop can dial that in for us
I agree. I was being sarcastic. I expect mine to work reliably for many, many, many thousands of miles.
Turbos aren’t new and Toyota is known to tune things very conservatively (low boost, good cooling). Also this powertrain is shared with the 4Runner and LC which means toyota simply won’t...
I had my hood PPF’d and told them I didn’t want the max badging - that’s in a box somewhere - same for the max badging on the tailgate. But I do really like the TH logos and lettering and want it applied back straight / spaced correctly
For those who did a full PPF wrap, did your installer remove the door badging and stick it back on top of the PPF or did they go around it? I would think it would be hard to remove and put back on perfectly aligned is why I’m asking.
