Update to my post above. The power tailgate doesn't seem to be easy to move or get to shift to center. I took delivery of a '25 TRD OR today and the power tailgate is shifted toward the passenger side pretty bad. Everything else on the truck looks great so I'm hoping there is a fix for this...
Guys, this is a relatively easy fix. I had this issue on my '23 Taco and I noticed it on the '25 that I plan to get tomorrow.
I believe the side to side play is an excessive tolerance. I resolved this by adding opening the gate halfway to the point where it can be removed. NOTE: put towels...
Looks great Dennis. I think you made a smart move sticking with 275's. Did you do 275/65r18 or 275/70r18? For clarification to future viewers please specify the whole tire size..... I can promise you doing so will prevent repeated questions about it. :wink:
I'm definitely planing to do the front of the bed up higher than the stock PPF. Do folks remove the OEM on the lower area of the front of the bed or just go over it?

Thanks for the input on that. It's hard to get the perspective from photos. The thing I like about these is that they are kind of tucked in.... it's hard to have it both ways I suppose. :wink:
I have an incoming '25 TRD ORP and am interested in these OEM rock rails. I don't do a ton of offroading but I like the idea of something like this that provides some legitimate protection when off road and also from rocks from tires(I have Canada version of mud guards ready to install).
