Who was talking about an hour of idling? We get sometimes 1/4" of ice on our windows during the bad months, 2 or 3 minutes of idling is going to help. This isn't snow that can be brushed off.

With the 2 trucks that my dealership has had, plus this gentlemen's truck, they've all had spray in bedliners. I like mine having it since I frequently haul motorcycles around, but since I chose a truck that was spec'd out by the dealership beforehand, it's not like I had a choice.

There is no lag that I've noticed. What stands out on the 24 is that the transmission doesn't shoot thru all the gears to reach 6th as fast as possible, while only moving at 30 MPH like the 3rd Gen does.
