I wouldn't have a problem removing the cab mount bracket if I was trying to run 34's or 35's, that's why they made it removable in the first place. Most 33" setups are fine though.
How come some of the trucks with the blackout kit installed have silver front emblems? I've noticed this before, but didn't put much thought into it. My front emblem was blacked out when it arrived.
We shouldn't make excuses for it, and IMO predicting assembly error is an excuse. I think if anything an assembly error would be worse than a part breaking, because that would mean dumbasses are building our trucks.
Trucks are expensive, and this is a completely redesigned new model year vehicle. People are dumb, and want the new truck to stay the same price as the outgoing model.
I have not seen a single photo of a '24 Tacoma with aftermarket wheels where nearly half of the tire wasn't poking out of the fenders. It will likely take a positive wheel offset to avoid that, but until someone figures out the numbers, I'll run the stock wheels.
285/75 will probably fit without rubbing, because I'm running 285/70's and there's at least 2" of clearance in the tightest spots. Without a lift though, I think 285/75's are a bit too large looking for the wheel wells.
Toyota has the best selling midsize truck with the highest resale value, they don't force jack shit down anyone's throats. If you're fond of the way Ford does things, then give them your money.
