Mud flaps alone will not stop the rock chips. Take a string or long straight edge and place it behind the front tire at ground level. Now have someone stretch the string until it is touching the front of the rear fender flair. The point is that rocks fly under the flap and hit the rear panel...
Rally. I actually got the high clearance before they introduced the Rally ones. The high clearance ones look terrible. The Rally have great coverage and look great.
The front passenger mat doesn't seem to fit correctly. Other than the fitment issue and the ugly white logo they look ok but there are better options. Lasfit mats fit better, cover better and don't have the ugly white logo.
Something isn't right with your tires and or wheels. No way you should need road force balancing. Try moving back to front and see if the shake goes away. Bottom line you should go back to your tire store and ask them to replace the tire(s) that won't balance.
Hood scoops are great....when they are real! My Jeeps even doubles as a snorkel and that is bad ass! The Tacoma stick on fake one doesn't look bad it's just you know, fake.
The only things I haven't changed out are the front grill/bumper and the tailgate handle surround. Since my truck is silver, the chrome on those parts doesn't really stand out as it does on darker colors so I'm still trying to decide on that.
The door handles are just stick on covers. They are...
Any way to get rid of that white logo? I don't know why mfg's feel the need to advertise inside my truck that nobody sees? It's not just this maker that is guilty to be fair though and I do like the look otherwise.
How long do you plan to own it? Lease is a 3 year "rental" that you turn back in after 3 years (normally) and walk away in theory. In reality you will pay for dents over a certain size, tires need to have plenty of tread or they will charge you, etc.
Also you won't be able to do most mods...
It looks like the front covers don't contour well to the seat bolstering. It makes the seats look flat like the cover is stretched across the seat too tight? Maybe they will contour better after some use.
This product is worthless. Make the same thing in harder plastic and make it without the holes so that when you insert it the tabs in the OEM cupholder are permanently pressed in. The goal is to defeat/eliminate the spring loaded grippers.
Yes it is a known problem. That ridiculous factory "mud flap" offers virtually no protection. I fixed the problem with a set of Rokblokz rally mud flaps and the HD2 running boards from rough country.
Thank you for the pics! I noticed the ones on the rear control arm the day I bought mine and thought it looked unfinished. I will add that to my project list for next weekend.
