I have been waiting to make an exhaust modification giving the aftermarket and Toyota (TRD) time to release the TRD cat back system for 24+ Tacoma’s. There are also a few other players in the aftermarket that haven’t released anything yet.
Anyway while waiting for all that to happen, I decided...
I don't think these issues are common. The engine and transmission are not new to Tacoma. They are used in numerous Toyota/Lexus vehicles with no issues. The shock-top hat failure is also extremely low in occurrence. There have been 2 or 3 reported on this forum and although im sure there are...
Well Mathew I don’t really give a shit about the legal aspects of this deal. My point is 39 days with no part has nothing to do with the truck being unreliable and everything to do with the reality of the world we live in.
Toyota is at the mercy of its suppliers and the suppliers are at the...
I went through the grill shutter issue with the early 24 builds (bought in February). I waited 39 days for the part to arrive so I feel the OP’s pain. Unfortunately this is the reality of the post COVID era. Sooner or later and regardless of what brand vehicle you drive you’re going to have a...
You didn't get a lemon. You bought a new truck and it had a bad part. Parts for new model vehicles are harder to come buy in the current supply chain cluster fk we live in. It can and will happen on every brand/model of vehicle. Good luck with your lemon claim. I doubt you will get very far with it.
You have to lift the bed cap up and you will see a white styrofoam block. I put the tape between the underside of the rail and that block. Be sure to put weight on it long enough to setup properly.
I am trying to find one to buy. Are you finding them in stock anywhere? I listened to a TRD pro today. It depends on what you’re looking for.
To me the TRD cat back sounds deeper and slightly louder than stock. Compared to all of the aftermarket sound clips of MagnaFlow, the TRD is much quieter.
Yeah I didn’t buy a backflip. I’m happy with what I have. Don’t need to do any google research. Buy what you want. I was answering a question as to why I bought what I bought. I’m sure the OEM is fine. So is the Undercover Ultraflex.
It's $1199. Seems about the same as Backflip MX4 and OEM to me. I liked the carpeted/bed rug look on the underside of the Undercover, the top side aluminum panels are a smoother matt finish than OEM (which I like) and also wanted the 5 year warranty. Like the factory cover it doesn't interfere...
So you got us to sign up for pre orders, made us wait then supplied product to Amazon before shipping our mats? Not cool. I have asked you to cancel my order via email. Please respond and take care of business.
I bought Rok Blokz and after installing them I removed them because they look hideous. I am going to get PPF installed and wait for Weathertech to release their flaps. If anyone wants a set of Rok Blokz and doesn't care about looks I will sell you mine at a huge discount. There are like new. PM me.
