I picked up the Yakima Jay-Low Kayak holders for my Tacoma bed rack, and as many user have said they have a whistle once your speed gets up to around 40+ mph. . . found a hack where you take a pool noodle and a a section to fit in the gap and it works like a charm ! problem solved for $1.25 👍🏼

it's pretty funny that when I've gone let's say 20 miles past empty out in the country and I put in 3 or 4 gallons to get back to town where the cheaper gas is, that the gauge doesn't register any gas having been put in... still just says I need to REFUEL 👀

Made that mod at the dealership the the day i picked it up in Colorado ☀️ 9 States later with an added Retrax Pro XR Tonneau and Yakima racks and I couldn't be happier

SAME ... less than a month old and got it cracked by rock on a gravel section of highway in Idaho... right in the middle of window but I kinda don't notice it anymore Not sure it's a quality issue. That was 9 months ago and crack hasn't spread 😅

We take our Aliner out when we have a free weekend 🌲 tows like nothing at around 1600lbs... not sure exactly what my mpg is but it seems to be not too much lower 🙏🏼

I'm right there with you 💙 Tows my trailer well too and the heated seats/wheel have been nice this winter ❄️ every time I see and drive my truck I'm really glad I stepped up to the 4G and glad I waited for the Blue 🛻

@nurp42 -yes, I suspect they are… It's just that The Toyota bed anchors have to be put in sideways and then turned horizontal to lock down… And when you try to put them sideways, they conflict with the Tonneau ... I'm planning on getting bed anchors that don't install that way 👍🏼

The heavy rains have come and since I broke my collarbone I had it installed at the truck store here in NorCal, called CAMPWAY it worked great this weekend for work 👍🏼

PS - WARNING ‼️ with the Retrax Pro Tonneau Cover the Tacoma OEM rail tie down anchors no longer fit . . . so . . . I guess I’m going with the Charvonia ones next time they go on a sale !

Finally picked up the Yakima Overhaul Rack & Retrax Pro Tonneau locking cover with the black Friday discounts. The locking cover gives the option of loading up my gear a day before going out early on a big job, and the lock gives me peace of mind it will all be there in the morning. Truck...
