  1. Rough engine engagement

Cool, good to know. Glad I was able to find a video of it because every time I tried to take one, couldn’t get it clear. Appreciate it!
  2. Rough engine engagement

This video, at 17:34-17:36 captures the noise perfectly as this reviewer is driving.
  3. Rough engine engagement

Thanks for the update. Maybe just needs to fully break in and seat. I’ll probably swing by the dealer this week and see if they have another one on the lot to try out.
  4. Rough engine engagement

Correct, with the TRD exhaust it may be more noticeable. There’s definitely a “pop” of some sort when it all kicks on.
  5. Rough engine engagement

Took me a while to come back and post. I will definitely get it checked out; it lessens once everything’s warmed up after about 15-20 minutes of driving. You 100% notice the ICE engine engaging, exhaust kicking on but it’s not a smooth transition at all.
  6. Rough engine engagement

Can you “feel” or hear anything when it kicks in?
  7. Rough engine engagement

This is probably a better description of what im noticing. You can hear/feel the ICE kicking in and grabbing the drivetrain.
  8. Rough engine engagement

Appreciate it! Will go drive another this weekend.
  9. Rough transmission shifts

Agreed; same here. Predominantly from a stop and go standpoint. As I mentioned, it seems as though it’s a shutter or clunk or thud as the engine engages the drivetrain it takes over from the hybrid system.
  10. Rough transmission shifts

  11. Rough engine engagement

So I just picked up a 25 with the I-force max. I’ve noticed when accelerating from a stop, there’s a thud/clunk when the engine appears to kick on/engage. Almost like the engine is engaging the drivetrain. it’s heard/felt in the rear. New to anything hybrid so wondering if this is “normal” for...
