2025 Silver Trd or Paint issues

Silver was my second choice behind Terra... I think Silver would be more livable day to day, but I absolutely love Terra.

I bought mine at Maita in Sacramento. They had really poor Tacoma inventory outside of the exact truck I wanted (I flew in from San Diego to get this spec) but they were excellent to deal with and I would absolutely buy from them again. Jonathan Langkamp was my salesman and he made it all very easy, did what he said, no bs.

I have the same issue, some panels are worse than others, mostly just my left side doors and rear quarter panel, and hood. Curious how you got a buyback instead of a repaint offer.

It was overcast the day I bought my truck. You don't really see the mottling until you are in direct sun.

Been there, done that. I bought a car at sunset and didn’t see a bunch of shit that I got corrected later. Life lessons.

As for your paint job, I would take great pictures in the sun, then address it with the dealer first. Then immediately call Toyota corp and file a claim.

Wrong year, and my truck does not have a rear sliding window. Also, akacappy had his vehicle bought back in June, which was two months after starting this thread, meaning his truck would have had more than 1,300 miles when Toyota reacquired it. In addition, disclosure is required of a vehicle buy back, along with correcting the defect before it’s sold again.
