What would it take to get the brake lens that is in an ARE topper 3-D printed so that the rearview mirror cameracamera could fit into the new 3-D printed lens?
I have the brackets from GGoffroad but started thinking about what it would take to get a lens printed so that the rearview mirror camera looked more OEM in the topper.

Someone would have to design the new lens in a CAD program and then have the lens printed with a clear PETG. If this were my project, I'd probably have three printed in case the sun eats them up in a few years.

I do a fair amount of CAD work for 3d prints objects, but this is beyond my skills and probably the CAD program (Sketchup) that I use.

It's not a simple project.

I use resin printers and the clear stuff doesn't hold up well to sun as sagebrush mentioned. So once you designed it you'd probably want to send it to a company that could produce it in better materials/processes to be more resistant and that would likely be prohibitively expensive for doing a small run.
You also might need to redesign the electronics of the lights I'm pretty sure its a board with all the LEDs directly on it rather than individual bulbs/LEDs so putting the camera in between might mean changing that.
Might be easier to design a fin for the top that had the camera inside if that wouldnt get in the way of your racks or other things you might put up there. then just drill a hole to run the wire through to it.
