In hindsight, the 5' is a lot easier to put in my garage. The 6', only another foot or so, but it would've been a real squeeze in my current home.

That's what I did. Wasn't in a rush, told sales rep what I was after, when. "We don't have any Trailhunters expected..." Never did anything. I did a web search, found 3 within 100 miles of me, 1 configured the way I wanted.

I located what I wanted, negotiated options, and paid <$1k to have mine privately transported to my doorstep from a willing dealership nearly 950mi away.

I located what I wanted, negotiated options, and paid <$1k to have mine privately transported to my doorstep from a willing dealership nearly 950mi away.
I had been hoping to find something I wanted in, say, Wyoming. Wanted an excuse to fly-n-drive it home. Did that with my current motorcyle. Alas, using caredge.com, I found the 2nd oldest '25 TH in the nation at the time, 45 miles from me. That's Ok, I'll still do the Michigan-Wyoming drive again, it'll just be opposite direction<g>.
