Hi all,
My dealer tells me I am in line for a sport premium expected delivery in Feb but can’t confirm to me til Dec sometime ?. Killing me…. .

He says the dealership will have this trim with 6 ft bed only. I can’t see any side view photos anywhere of the same truck with 5 vs 6 bed size. Anyone have? Any other thoughts on one size vs other is also welcome. Functionally, size doesn’t really matter to me but I thought the 5 foot looked better from what I can see…
Thanks.

Can you just compare the 3rd gen to get what you want?

Good point. Am also thinking it makes a retractable tonneau cover more practical given the bed space it takes up.

I found it hard to live with a five foot bed with my former truck. (2020 gladiator). A 6 foot bed is so much easier to camp out of as well.

If I can’t get the five foot bed I’m not buying the truck. I’m giving my dealer my list of options of wants. If he can’t find it I will.

Interesting. For us, and our offroad application, it was 100% functionally driven. It simply came down to turn radius. Even with the 5', Riddick (our taco) feels like an absolute behemoth compared to Stitch (our Wrangler). Harder to bend steel around trees in the taco :).

Depends on your needs. Longer gear & camping LB 6’ is obviously better. A little trickier w/serious rock crawling but I mean 12” of bed length isn’t a deal breaker. So maybe you can’t do those class 5 trails w/hairpin switchbacks.

Long bed tacos look killer IMO

That's what I did. Wasn't in a rush, told sales rep what I was after, when. "We don't have any Trailhunters expected..." Never did anything. I did a web search, found 3 within 100 miles of me, 1 configured the way I wanted.
