That's so sweet. I've been looking at the Tune M1 for a long time. It looks like a great pop-up camper without the weight of a slide-in. I think it's totally worth it if I was traveling more and living out of it. But definitely on the expensive side if you're just using it for a few weekend trips out of the year.

How's the gas mileage with it on?

pricey. no doubt. i am likely to get 180 nights in it this year. so it was worth it for me.

Mileage TBD. for the first 6K on the OR hybrid w/o the Tune, i was right at 23 mpg. today on the 150 mile drive home, the on-board system said 21.5 mpg. i have a light foot. most folks are seeing a 3mpg hit with the Tune. so i was expecting 20 mpg and feel like i will hit that number over the long haul.

for pop-up, my second choice was the Hiatus--which is right in your backyard.

What are your update thoughts on the Tune? Still loving it? Do you have an updated MPG? Do you ever take it off?

i love it. i am on day 81 of this first North America road trip. left the mid-Atlantic on July 2nd, across North Shore of Lake Superior to the Olympic Peninsula, then north (Vancouver Island, northern BC, Yukon, NWT) to the Arctic Ocean. then back to BC for a month of steelhead fishing, where I am now. we move slow and try to keep the distance moved to less than 150 miles a day. 9907 miles so far. 487 gallons of gas. so that is 20.3 mpg. i get 20mpg because i drive slow. i search out back roads, preferably gravel, and hate highways. The truck is near its GVWR. I have a Taruca awning hanging off one side and a Taruca shower off the other, so the aerodynamics are even worse than just the Tune. I did add Timbren bump stops to get rid of 2in of rear sag--they leveled the truck and definitely help the coils. of the nearly 10K miles, i'd say maybe 4K has been gravel/dirt/double track. the Tune has definitely taken a pounding. it is a joy to live in. as for the truck, i am definitely loving it, even more than the Tune. the suspension has been great, especially considering the load. i never thought i'd use the front sway bar disconnect so much. the 2400W inverter charges the camper battery in about an hour--which we do sometime during the day when driving. attached are the OP-to-Arctic route we took and an updated photo of the truck.

Oh woWwww!! That looks like an amazing trip. That would be my dream! The front sway disconnect and the 2400w charging seem awesome, but I was hoping to get the base OR to get the 6' bed. Hopefully the non-hybrid version can be good on MPG if I drive slowly as well.
So you added Timbren bump stops but did you change the coils to Dobinson's or something else or running stock?
