Any dealers known on the forum for selling the Toyota Vehicle Service Agreements at a discount or at least no mark up?

Heya everyone,

Coming from the Jeep and TRX community, there were dealers well known on the forums that would sell you the factory backed extended warranty at a cheap discount even if you did not buy from them.

Do we have anyone like that here for our Tacomas?

Both the dealer I purchased from and my local dealer are pushing a third party backed warranty from some company I have never heard of and won't even discuss pricing on the Service agreement from Toyota.

Thanks,

Super easy “salesman” to deal with. Flat out take it or leave it, and his pricing is the best I found. Purchased the 5yr 100k for $895 in March.

Thanks,
Yes! You can buy a genuine Toyota factory-backed Vehicle Service Agreement (VSA) from specific out-of-state dealers for heavily discounted rates.

It will never cease to amaze me how short sighted car dealerships can be with their scummy tactics. Once I made it clear I would not buy the third party warranty, you would think they would relent and make some money selling me the Toyota backed option, but they chose to be spiteful and make no money instead.

Thanks for the replies here everyone!

Just bought one from Troy Dietrich in Greenfield and can vouch for him, the pricing sort of fluctuates on the model year and trim level but overall they ran the exact same when I price checked him against Jerry Johnson at Midwest Superstore earlier this year. He's still gotta make some cheese but they're about the best your gonna find available to the public. Some of the others over the years have either had their hands slapped for selling way cheaper than other places or just no longer in the biz of solely Toyota Financial extended warranties.

My local dealer got pissy when they were 2x-3x any of these rates from their in-house warranty provider. Note: All of these are the Platinum $0 deductible costs, if you want the $100 deductible it's a little cheaper.

PS: there's gonna be people that tell you it's not worth it. They might be right, they might be wrong. It's a numbers game but everyone's pain point and peace of mind cost is different. I can tell you this, I don't care because they aren't going to be the ones to come down to the dealership to pay my bills when my backup camera dies, my wheel bearing eats itself, or my engine timing seal starts leaking after the factory warranty expires. Ask me how i know.

Thank you so much. I will be calling in the next couple of days.
