I was hearing occasion strange noises when driving low speed on non perfect roads ..on bumps..

And, as I backed in/ up my driveway today - it's on a slight incline - I hit the brakes a tad harder than usual, and heard a SLOSH !!

Nope - not the gas tank ...

WATER - !! in my Passenger door !! Dual issues caused .. #1 - door bottom the one way flapper valves sticking shut (To allow drainage AND keep tire thrown water and debris out of the door) !!! #2 I purchased, last year, window vent top edges for 2 front windows ... So I can keep my windows open an inch without rain entering when parked - to let the heat out in the sun /summer when parked !! Opening the windows also opens the glass window bottom seal to the door exterior - allowing water to enter inside the door !!! DUH !!!

I drain it and need to adjust /lube the flap valves - and I hope the inside coatings of the door did not not rust through...

And I read that that sticking drain valves are a know issue and there is a TSB for this ....

Same. Hard rain or car wash. Sometimes my left rear door backs up with water. Dumb plug. Even then it seems to take a while for the door interior to dry. Definitely a Schlimmerverbesserung. <- Terrible enhancement.
