Gentlemen’s agreement. Up to each of us to negotiate our best value proposition, but Jonathan was more than fair and amenable.

What is SDM? It’s SwayBar Disconnect Mechanism. It allows the swaybar to have extra articulation in certain off road conditions that would keep a normal car’s wheels in the air allowing the tires to drop to the ground thereby gaining traction you otherwise wouldn’t have. A must have for mall crawling and of course future resale value.

Honestly, the GX isn’t that impressive. The materials are nowhere near as high quality as a LR defender at the 85k price point, it’s running that suspect Tundra V6 with no hybrid backup, and most controls are hidden in a screen that 1. Sucks and 2. Takes up half the display. I don‘t want a tesla.

Owners report and I personally experienced a jittery and uncomfortable ride from the suspension. Apparently, There’s issue with their active suspension system. Also dealers marking them up further erodes their value.

LC better all around than the Gx imo.
