A little bit more information on that fuse box. It's a Blue Sea 5025. I love Blue Sea products, but dang they are spendy. This is one of those things where you get what you pay for. I used the same fuse box when I wired up the solar in the canopy camper.

I would love more info on this entire set up. Where is it mounted? Where did you get the tray etc etc.

I’m not completely opposed to putting a block on the fuse panel lid but if I could I’d prefer to put it somewhere else where movement would be minimal.

I just installed mine last week on my TRD off-road. Mine didn’t come with the pre-wiring, so I ran it to the battery and then through a boot in the firewall. I went with the heretic light bar as, from my research, it was the one that fit the best (and I now can confirm that). Super easy install. Maybe it took me about 1hr to 1 and a half.

Someone else asked you but I figured I’d echo it: how/what did you tap into to get the backlight on your switch to light up?

This set-up is mounted in my canopy camper. It's a stand alone electrical system powered off 380W solar and 200Ah batteries.

I do have another fuse block under the hood next to the air box for various electrical stuff. It's mounted with 2-side tape on the plastic skirt, passenger side.

Sorry for the late reply, I did not tap for that my button does not backlight. Only when it’s on.

There's got to be someone with a 3D printer that could make something cool.
The light bar cover is not a bad idea with some brackets !
I've got a 3d printer and have been dabbling with designing things. Such as this 5lb propane tank mount bracket that attaches to the bed rail. I'm not sure how to nicely secure that cover in the grille but I'm sure it's possible.

What light do you have in yours ? Would love to see a photo!
I have a Triple-R Linear-18 Elite+ which is a multi-mode yellow/low-white/high-white/both bar pushing out to 21000 lumins. I also have their Linear-24 Elite but it's collecting dust at the moment, not sure if I'm going to stuff it in the grill or not.

I also wanted a clean install with the switch, so I ended up purchasing the OEM button for a Tundra (which is a momentary switch) and ended up rigging a self-locking relay module to make the switch act as a on/off toggle switch instead of a momentary. I didn't want to use my aux lighting for this because I wanted to use it for something else. I found the write up here starting at post #36: https://www.tundras.com/threads/trd-pro-light-bar-switch-p-n.116422/page-2

I'm also debating on removing this entire set up completely as I'm not too happy with the amount of play the OEM heritage grill has.. when I use my light bar you can see it vibrate. I'm very close to purchasing the DV8 centric front bumper and relocating this light bar down there and remove the Heritage grill. I still want it, but it would look stupid without a light bar. Taco Vinyl has a heritage grill without the cutout for a light bar that I may end up buying instead.

You know what I wish someone would make ? Some sort of insert for the Lightbar cutout that isn't a Lightbar that looks good.
So many people want to the Pro or Heritage Grille and you can get it at such a good price when they're having a 25% off sale (like now) but a lot of folks don't want a light bar and end up with other aftermarket grilles with the wonky lettering
https://tacovinyl.com/collections/2024-tacoma-grilles/products/2024-tacoma-beta-pro-grille

But I haven't found any reviews yet.

The OEM looks really good though. All of the aftermarket "OEM style" grilles - the lettering/font looks off to me from peoples' photos. Like TEMU Toyota branding, which I guess it is lol.

I just ordered the Diode Dynamics 20" bar and OEM pro. Got my fingers crossed it doesn't have all that play you talk about!

But your rig looks sweet ! If I still had the Trailhunter wheels I'd have gone heritage grille for sure on my blue crush

The fender flares on the OR are matte so the decision was pretty much already made, but i also like the look of the matte over the gloss. IMHO the matte grill will also match powdercoated bumpers too.

Which site did you order from? I think I saw Sparks Toyota and one other were the best discounts.

I paid $310 including tax.. was $280. I just looked and they want $304 for it now. You just have to look for the ones in the area and compare it to ones nationwide and find which one is cheapest--but keep in mind you don't have to pay shipping costs for local pick up.
