Not exactly sure where to put this so I'm putting it in general topics. I noticed when getting into my Tacoma yesterday, some white stuff under the seat and when I brushed it out and took a good look at it it turns out it's seat foam. It is clearly coming from the bolster on the driver side and likely from movement or whatever when getting in or out even though I've been paying particular attention to not drag ass across it when getting out.

I'm particularly sensitive to this because I have in most of my Toyotas, like my GEN2 4Runner literally almost all of that foam gone from the bolster and now the upholstery is torn. A little frustrated that this has started this early in the truck. I thought in my 4Runner and Highlander it was because the foam was degrading over time, but now I'm realizing it's probably mostly from mechanical friction -- the foam degradation I'm sure hasn't yet started. Anybody else seeing this? Doesn't bode well for 5-6 years from now. I thought since this is so common Toyota would have addressed it by now!

I'm not kidding, could you have a rodent in there?
No. I checked around the vehicle and inside and found no evidence of that. Plus I’ve lived here almost 20 years and have five vehicles and have never had an issue with rodents inside the vehicles. I’m still curious to see if other people may have seen this in their trucks. It’s not very visible if you just look in that area, you kinda have to squat down and look a little bit under the seat to find it.
