Probably "Known" to some of you, but I had a tapping/clicking noise on the drivers side of my truck while driving. I did the google AI thing on the subject and it was actually right this time!...
"Loose Splash Shield (Most Common): A common issue causing a "tap-tap-tap" or fluttering sound near the driver's door/front fender is a loose splash shield, often caused by weak factory plastic grommets."
Solution: I replaced the factory plastic grommets with some after market grommets that come in this kit...

Issue resolved!
Have fun!
