4G tick/click/tinging drivers side SOLVED (inner fender liner was loose)

Putting this out there for the internet and anyone else who has OCD as bad as I do.

weird noise coming from my drivers side, kinda down by my feet. Only heard it when it is quiet and I’m driving. Like a metallic tingy clicking noise.

Problem solved. Piece of inner fender liner, loose at one of the clips. Send a zip tie through the middle of the clip and tightened everything up, no more noise. Amen. Hope this helps someone.

oh man! that’s so funny. I searched the net so hard and your post never popped up! I’m really surprised. Good stuff. Freakin Toyotas… cmon guys. Crazy how loose mine was. And it’s not consistent either. Some of those clips are fine, some are loose as hell.

Took me weeks to figure it out too. I was about to tear the bumper cover off when I stumbled on the problem
