Emblem modification

Morning all,
I do not like the matte/flat black Toyota emblem in the center of my 2024 front grille. I know there is a big trend of those who do not not like chrome emblems or trim. I'm old school and I do like shiny things.

I orderd a chrome and plastidip it... They are not that much definitely under $20 bucks... Forgot the part number but this is the back of the emblem somebody posted

Morning,
I have decided to get creative. I'm going to remove the emblem, prep it and paint it...shiny "new-penny" coper color. We'll see how it turns out. Ill post picture when done.

Finished. Just letting paint dry and harden inside because raining outside. Reminds of 1990’s when I worked at Toyota and I installed gold emblem kits on Camrys and Lexus.

I painted mine white to match the body color

For matte black, I think plasti-dip is pretty popular (but I’ve never used it). But for my white one, I just used regular hardware store spray paint. So far it has lasted one year without needing a re-coat yet. (Which is better than I was expecting TBH)
