Did anyone notice their front facing vents still moving air even after you switch the mode to windshield/foot? I cant seem to find a way to completely block the vents as there is no shutter to close them off.

Try to set temperature and fan speed manually and cancel auto climate and then select foot or windshield . It worked in mine .. . I have seen lot of other cars have same issue . My civic have same thing too . It will always blow air through front

The vents can be turned off by sliding the vent lever horizontally away from you till they stop

Temperature and fan speed are set manually. But there is still significant amount of air coming from the front facing vents. When you switch yours to foot and windshield do you feel any air coming from the front ones?

The vents are slid away from me to the right all the way and the air is still coming through. Obviously not as much as when i have manually set it to front vents but still there is some air going through.

Mine does the same thing. Auto climate is on and set to temp, the temp will change, but it always blows from vents and never turns off. Frustrating, because every other car I've owned circulates it thru multiple vents, and slows the air once the temp is reached. This is my first tacoma, so not sure if this is normal to the brand. 8k for the premium package, thought I can atleast have that.
