Hood fog lights VS grill fog lights

I want to change the grill fog lights to amber or add amber lights to hood.
which way would be better?

Honestly don't really off road too much they would mainly be for snowy conditions

Fog lights should be mounted low to be most effective. Also, lights on the hood would be blinding for oncoming drivers.

Although I live in Georgia now, I lived up in snow country until my 30’s

In blowing snow or fog, you want your lighting to be as far off of your view angle as possible. The lower the better.

I would not add lights to the hood except for pure decoration

I just put Amber film over mine. I like it, and it cuts down on all of the white light for oncoming traffic.

What film is that? I bought some film for mine but it's more of a light yellow and I'm not really happy with it. Yours looks much better.

I have two films over each light because with just one film, it looked yellow not amber.
