How is the durability of OEM TH fuel tank skid

Does anyone have experience regarding the durability of the OEM TH fuel tank skid? I need to add some protection to the rear portion of the tank since it seems really exposed. The last time I went Offroad I picked up a few scratches on the bottom of the rear tank and differential shield.

I would prefer to save some weight if I can hence the OEM shield.

I‘ve checked that skidplate out closely. It’s pretty weak if you plan to drag the belly over rocks. For clean dirt, sand and a few small branches it’s fine.
