How to pop rivets out ?

Any slick ideas how to pop these out from the back side without damaging the powder coat ? Got some rb20 slim side steps. Don't want the real truck logo on them. Tried compressing with vice grips and pushing with a screw driver, but them bad boys are holding on!

If you are afraid of over drilling or the like I usually put the bit in a pin vice and turn it by hand to avoid any thing happening to suddenly.

I just used a tiny bit and they popped right out. Scuffed one, but had some flat black paint that matches just fine
