Hello All. Like many before me I am patiently waiting for delivery of my 2025 Tacoma TRD Sport Premium. I was told "originally" it had a build date of 4/27 with arrival in late May or early June. On May 6 my dealer called and said the truck has been built and is being "put on a truck" and "could" be here within the next week. 3 weeks later no signs of it and dealer says there has been no change in the delivery date update. I have the permanent VIN and some have said they can enter the VIN on Toyota's site and see the window sticker. Can someone share how this is done? Thank You in advance!

You should be able to see it on the dealer's website. Toyota posts the truck there as soon as it's built.

The vehicle was removed from the dealers website a few weeks ago, a few days after it was built.

Go to the dealership website and look up your truck. It will be there under a different URL than the page your truck had when it had the temporary VIN. To give you an estimated timeline, mine was built April 16 at the Guanajuato plant, and arrived at the dealership in Maryland (near DC) on May 12th.

I'm sorry. I do not understand. I go to the dealer's website and search their Tacoma inventory. The truck does not appear. I search the inventory by the VIN number, still nothing.

Are you sure the truck isn't on the website under the permanent VIN? The page with the truck information and the temporary VIN is deleted as soon as it's built. Mine showed up for a few days with the permanent VIN, but also then went missing before I actually picked it up. I wasn't able to go after it for almost 2 weeks after it hit the dealership, and it was gone from the website for most of that time.

Put the VIN into a Google search and it should pop up with links to your truck on the dealer's website, but if you have a deposit on the vehicle, they may have removed it from their website (see my experience above).

No hits at all with the Google search.

Have you tried searching on the Toyota website? That consistently got me the factory listing with a link to the window sticker.

Yeah - Toyota's website has changed and it is harder to find.

I got there from Toyota.com by clicking "Shopping" at the top of the page. Then select "Search Inventory" and under "trucks" select either Tacoma or Tacoma hybrid. That takes you to a page where you can set your zip code and pick a distance that includes your dealer. That should show your truck and if it does, click "View Details". Assuming all that works there is a link to view the window sticker. Doing that shows the truck on the Toyota website, and you only go to the dealer if you click "View Dealer Site", which you know does not work.

Clear as mud, right?
