Yep, looks like some type of defect at first glance, but sadly it's normal.

Luckily my 5'3" wife can't see it or she would definitely comment on it. She has this keen eye for weird details.

I call it a pain in the ass 50% of the time. But she's a keeper, so I keep the eye rolling and head shaking to a minimum

I noticed the rubber strip on the roof. Keep on eye on that....in my 2014 Tundra, I was up in the bed washing the roof and noticed one edge moving so lifted up on it and it came up way too easy....I think the heat messes with the adhesive so I got some silicone and re-glued both down well. (Toyota probably sells replacement strips but you know they want $100 for one!)
