Issues with Weathertech Rain Guards

I installed some Wearhertech rain guards on my ‘25. I love the functionality and the look but the trim piece sticks out significantly. This didn’t happen with the 3rd gen and I don’t see other brand trucks with this issue. My concern is how much it stretches out the window trim and the possibility of water getting in the channel. Does anyone with the Weathertech have any of these issues? Any problems with car washes, etc?

I’ve never noticed that. My problem is the left one doesn’t fit tight. It rattles. I installed them exactly per instructions and left the wife up longer than they suggested after the install. They sent me a new one and have the same issue.

Same but it’s never leaked from car washes or New Orleans rain events. My front right side does rattle a bit on bumps when the window is down. The ones on my ‘16 never rattled…

WELL VISORS ahhd love the look and I don't experience any wind noise, or worry about water penetrate into the cabin or the truck

Ah yes, there it is. So it’s a 4th gen issue with these. Not that it’s a problem, but two different people commented on how much the trim lifted up when they saw the truck in person.

Just add a little double sided tape. It solves that issue 100%

Wow i could NEVER put those on my truck… Only ever use in channel look ten times better and never have an issue.

I like those! But my luck, those things would fly out on the highway.

I've been down the Hwy more than once over 100 mph and all the time at 80 mph driving in Eastern Washington with no problems. I don't know how fast you drive but over 15,000 miles and no sign of any movement and 0 leaks, wind or rain
