Hi, I've had a Blitz jerry can like this for ages.
2024 Tacoma Jerry can recommendations. 1000010939

I'd like to carry another 5 gallons for some trips, but I don't know which brands to trust for the NATO style cans. Looking for something that isn't going to leak fumes into my shell.
Any recommended brands?
Thanks.

I've not personally used one but I've heard good things about Wavian cans. Gelg cans are generally well reviewed as well and are a bit cheaper.

I use the Wavian 5 gallon can. I mount it with the Wavian Jerry can holder in the bed of my truck with Rago Fabrication bed mounts.
It’s filled when I go camping off-road, for the past 5 years, and have never had a leak or gas vapors in the closed bed/topper.

No contest. Wavian NATO. Don't get the Chinese clones. The pinch welds are not recessed and can cause a problem in some carriers. If you get a new one the spout that come with it sucks. Oh wait, I stand corrected. It SUCKS!!!! You can get old school NATO spouts, but they can be hard to find (Amazon?). That said, you can defeat the CARB BS on that CARB spout. Yes, I own three of them (two old, one new).

I've only had one issue with them. After 20+ years the seal on the cap started leaking. They are available.

I really like that mount. I could have used that. I still might.
