Kuat IBEX Bed Rack - 3rd Party Accessory Compatibility

Hey all,

I'm thinking of getting the Kuat IBEX bed rack and wondering if anyone who has one installed has added third-party accessories to it.

I already have a Thule kayak carrier that I used with my Wrangler (it fits their Aero Bars) and wondering if it will fit the IBEX crossbars or if I need to spend the extra coin on the Kuat kayak carrier.

The AI/internet search engine overlords seem to think it will fit, but can't tell me definitively it it will need any modification. Hopeful someone on here has tried it something similar!

I have mounted a bike rack on the crossbars and it worked… not the greatest fit, but it stayed on, LololoL. I do know their Kayak rack is like 40% off right now and I think it mounts much better using the tchannels on the bars. Their stuff is high quality, at 40% off, it seems like a no brainer.

Thanks for the info! I ordered the kayak holders, even though I don't the rack yet. I have decided on the IBEX, and you can't beat 40% off.
