Mini Viper cut

Just got my truck back from the shop. We did a “mini viper cut” that ends just under the bottom of the front fender. I think it looks great. This along with an Westcott lift gets you 315/70 with no rubbing going down the road.

Wow really like this, subtle but still makes it look much more aggressive. What wheels do you have on there?

This is the cut I would do. You basically cut off the front bottom part of the bumper up until it reaches the fender flare. Other than that use tape to line yourself up. If you don’t feel confident enough just get a shop too. Anyone can do it though.

How’s the road noise in those tires? Looking to get myself a set.

Also, when you cut the bumper, do you do anything to the raw edge or just leave it?

You can take a flat file to the edge to clean up the cut. I only had a metal cutoff wheel handy and it came out clean but leaves some melted plastic strips to clean up.

Got any closeups during the day? I've been wanting to get this done and you're the first I've seen.
