Someone asked me about this on another thread, so I figured I'd share here for anyone looking for an easy and affordable DIY upgrade to your stereo system. I am no audiophile, but this is how I did the install and it sounds great to me. If I want it to it can shake the rearview mirror, but I usually have it on more reasonable settings. I have the SR5 base package.

I got The Rockford Fosgate P300-8P, the Beatsonic BH10 harness, and the NXT 8 Gauge wiring kit. I ran the power wire through the passenger firewall grommet and down the passenger side. I used Positwists to connect the subs speaker wires to the Beatsonic front speaker wires and ran the speaker wire down the drivers side (the hardest part was fishing it through from the head unit). And I grounded it to a factory ground location behind the trim on the drivers side c pillar. I did not run a remote wire as this sub can be set to power on when it gets an audio signal, but the power-on delay is honestly kind of annoying to me, so you might want to run a remote wire. I ran the bass (gain) control knob under the carpet and up between the drivers seat and center console and used velcro to secure it there so I can turn it down when my kids are in the truck.
I did have to cut the fabric storage bin to get it to fit under the rear seat. It barely fits under there and it fits best in the downfiring position. I had an 8" kicker Hideway in my last truck and I bet that would fit better, but this one is leaps and bounds better. I love this little powered sub! It is probably my favorite thing I've done to the truck.

Cheers!

I just got the same sub, does it work with your headunit volume? My issue is when the volume is at zero on the radio, the sub is still playing. I didn’t run a remote wire so I use the same auto on setting

Also while troubleshooting, I notice I get continuity between every speaker wires when the headunit is on.

No Mine doesn't do that. I didn't run the remote wire either.
I'm not much of an Audio guy, so couldn't really help with much trouble shooting, but did you double check the harness wiring ?

The issue is because I have the JBL system. You have to tap in at the factory amp. The signal from the headunit won’t work as good.
