Greetings All,
I joined to learn more about the 4th Gen Tacoma, which I am currently considering as a new car purchase.
We moved to South Texas from Washington State, where I lived for the last 30 years and did a lot of camping, exploring and some 4WD trails with a local club. I miss the mountains and forests of the Pacific Northwest, but enjoy the beach, sun, and warmth down here. (And the people, who are as warm as the weather)
I am the proud first owner of a 1996 Toyota T-199 (nicknamed "the Obsolete Toy") which has about 180,000 miles on it and has run great for 30 years. It's been highly modified for off-road use over years.
I'm considering the new Tacoma, the Wrangler Unlimited and the Chevy Colorado ZR1 as possible vehicles to replace my daily driver, with is a 12 year old Subaru.
I'm looking to learn a lot more about these trucks.
