My truck has been doing this only on the drivers seat since new, my useless dealer talked to toyota and they agreed to change the seat cover. I knew that wasn't the problem so tonight i opened up the back of the seat and found the problem and fixed it. There are 2 metal rods near the top of the seat that hold the fan for the ventilation. They run up to the top of the seat near where the headrest holes are. Thats where they're creaking. There is no room to get way up in there so i wedged a couple pieces of rubber between the rods and the plastic up there as far as i could reach to stop the rods from moving and making the noise. The noise is now gone so lets hope the rubber pieces in there....

Unfortunately i didn't but it's not hard to open up the back of the seat, 2 elastic hoops underneath the seat and a zipper on each side

I assume you removed the seat to do that? I felt around for the hooks but my arms don’t really fit under there

No i left the seat bolted in, just lift the seat with the power buttons on the side.

Gah, glad i'm not the only one, more of a creaking noise than a squeak. I thought the seats were telling me to loose a couple of pounds haha. I've gotten use to it, but i've never had such noisy seats before.
Update from my April 2025 comment.... I'm now at a year with the truck and 11,000miiles, It may be due to the summer heat softening the plastic bits of the seat OR the seat finally fully broken-in, but I no longer have the creaking noises I did a few months back.
