They will get a million “orders” don’t let that fool you. It is only $100 and the first 1,000 or more will just be “flipped” by the folks trying to make a quick buck. Happened to Cybertruck, Rivian and plenty of “new” entries. At only $100 this number of reservations should tell you nothing.

I think the entire “make it or break it“ with both of these will be true actual real world range. Until they get that figured out these will all be novelty, grocery getters or for the first 6 months, cars and coffee hang out.

The gas range extender is clever for now, but I’d still want solid charging infrastructure for daily use. I’ve been looking at jiuroad.com for their DC fast chargers and smart parking systems, which seem perfect for high-traffic locations. Their integrated approach feels future-proof, and I’m considering their solutions for my own setup.
